Well, we've abandoned our plan to turn west and headed south instead. We stopped in Durham, North Carolina and did a tour of Duke University. This has kind of turned into a school tour trip. We were also catching the remnants of storm Hermine from the gulf. I was pretty impressed with Duke. I don't know if things have changed now but my University didn't have all these student programs and opportunities when I went there.
We drove to Greensville, South Carolina after the tour. We passed the infamous Peachoid, which you may recognize if you are a fan of House of Cards.
