This trip has already taken a few days longer than our trip to Canada, so I was getting eager to head west. Yesterday we drove from a South Carolina, through Georgia, to Mobile, Alabama where we stayed for the night.
From Mobile, today we drove through Jackson, Mississippi to our BnB at a farm just outside Shreveport, Louisiana. Originally we had planned on visiting New Orleans after Mobile, but the weather forecast was for rain and thunderstorms in New Orleans, so we decided to just make some more progress west.
Looks like I finally picked a good AirBnb, ha!
